LINE Group Community Guidelines

Welcome to the Patana Pasa LINE community. This group is intended for course graduates who want to continue their Thai language journey alongside fellow learners. To keep things positive and productive for everyone, please read and follow the guidelines below.

What This Group Is For

• Practicing Thai — Share tips, ask questions, and practice speaking within the group.
• Thai Culture — Ask about Thai customs, traditions, and etiquette. Share experiences from life in Thailand.
• Community Meetups — Organize or join safe, in-person meetups to practice Thai and explore Thailand together.
• Study Resources — Share helpful links, learning methods, and questions relevant to Thai language study.

Respectful Communication

• Treat all members with kindness and respect, regardless of Thai proficiency level.
• No discrimination, harassment, or offensive language of any kind.
• Constructive feedback only — this is a supportive environment, not a competitive one.

Content Standards

• No spam, advertising, or self-promotion without prior approval from an admin.
• No sharing of personal contact information or any content that violates the privacy of other members.
• All media shared (photos, videos, links) must be appropriate and relevant to the group's purpose.
• Political, religious, or controversial content unrelated to Thai language and culture is not permitted.

Safety Guidelines for Meetups

• Meetups are organized voluntarily between consenting members.
• Always meet in public places for initial in-person connections.
• Admins are not responsible for any activities that take place outside of the group itself.

Consequences for Violations

Admins reserve the right to remove members who violate these guidelines — with or without prior warning, depending on the severity of the situation. We'd rather resolve things constructively, but maintaining the group's integrity comes first.

Language in the Group

English and Thai are both welcome in this group. We encourage members to try Thai whenever they're comfortable — that's exactly what the group is here for.
